About Tulips and Turtles: 

Erin Davies started Tulips and Turtles because she couldn't find what she wanted for her own young daughter: stylish, sun-protective clothes made from beautiful, untreated 100% cotton fabrics and made with the same high-quality and attention to detail as the best American and European childrenswear.  

After spending months researching high-end cotton fabrics that felt luxurious, looked great and were sun-protective without the addition of extra chemicals, Erin finally found the fabrics that are Tulips and Turtles signature pima cottons. She then concentrated on developing smart, stylish designs and ensuring that they were made by expert craftsmen and women in a sweatshop-free environment.

The result is Tulips and Turtles' Sunny Collection, a unique natural sun-protective children's clothing line that offers a fresh take on classic designs. Every piece in our collection is thoughtfully designed, beautifully crafted and speaks to a modern sensibility--which increasingly includes an interest in sun-protection. As part of our commitment to high-quality, sweatshop-free, socially conscious production, all of our garments are currently made by The Evans Group in Los Angeles.   

Erin's daughter is now in school and wears Tulips and Turtles most days. Erin also now has a son and he, too, is usually clad in Tulips and Turtles. Thanks to both her children, Erin has learned firsthand what works and what doesn't and she is proud to offer a collection that has been kid-tested and approved.
